About BoomTech

Founded in 2016 by owner Tyler Sloat, he has a long history with heavy-duty diesels and equipment. Working for 15 years as a heavy-duty mechanic and certified electrician, Tyler gained plenty of experience working on boom truck hydraulics and electrical systems. Over the course of his work, Tyler would also become ANSI certified for boom truck inspections.

With a specialization in boom trucks and class 4 to 8 trucks, BoomTech has become the only shop in the area able to handle anything and everything concerning these types of vehicles. No matter the problem, BoomTech can fix it.  Although specializing in boom trucks and utility equipment overall, Tyler and his team are particularly skilled when it comes to the trucks’ critical hydraulic and electrical controls and performing the required Ansi Inspections and Dielectric testing.

Thanks to his years of experience, Tyler knows that the customer is just as important as the trucks he works on. They’re hardworking and dedicated to their craft, with their truck as their tool of the trade. That’s why Tyler and his team approach every job like they’re working on their own personal vehicle. BoomTech makes sure every customer understands the job being done and what’s involved from beginning to end. That way, the customer can rest assured that the job is being done right with the best tools, technology, and parts available.
